Community-based Behavioral Health Occupational Therapist, full-time
Jefferson Transitional Programs (JTP), a community-based mental health recovery agency in Riverside, CA
Description
Job duties include providing person-centered, wellness-focused OT evaluation and intervention to program participants, providing supported employment services to staff, supervising Level I and II OT interns, consulting with executive staff, collaborating with line staff and executive staff around program development projects, as well as some fundraising and grant-writing. Lots of opportunities to work creatively, independently, as well as within an interdisciplinary team setting. Also a focus on creating collaborations with community groups and organizations to promote access to resources, free or cheap healthcare and participation in community events, activities, and spaces.
Background/experience needed
At least 1 year’s experience as a practicing, licensed Occupational Therapist. Experience in mental health and/or community-based Occupational Therapy is preferred. Experience as a consumer of mental health services is preferred.
Salary range: $55,000/yr with full benefits
