Surfas, OTAC Lobbyist Ivan Altamura, and OTAC Vice President Bryant Edwards, represented mental health OT at the California Board of Psychology meeting on August 16. On September 18, 2018, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr., of California announced he had signed into law OTAC’s sponsored legislative bill, AB 2221 (Bloom).
Advanced Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Occupational Therapy
We are pleased to invite you to an information session about the Advanced Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Occupational Therapy (MBOT) on Tuesday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m.
Designed for working professionals, this program includes four online courses and an in-person five-day residential training retreat in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. Formal admission is required for the program; all applications for the Spring 2019 term must be submitted by December 15, 2018.
