Employment Specialists (Two positions: San Rafael and Santa Rosa)

Job Summary

Two full-time “Employment Specialist/Team Leader” positions available with Buckelew Programs’ Employment Services division, one in Santa Rosa (for Sonoma County) and one in San Rafael (for Marin County).

Requirements

These positions require at least two years’ experience working in vocational or social services with persons with mental illness, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social science (occupational therapists encouraged to apply). Among other duties, will work with clients individually and in groups to engage them in the process of obtaining and managing employment; will develop network of employers and referral sources; and will assist in service coordination of clients working through other Buckelew Programs services.

Occupational Therapist

John George Psych. Pavilion – San Leandro

Full-time OT position available at the John George Psychiatric Pavilion in San Leandro (an Alameda County Medical Center facility). This position requires rotating Saturday shifts, approximately one Saturday in every six weeks. Therapist will provide OT services in rehab programs for emotionally ill persons in this facility at 2060 Fairmont Drive, San Leandro.

Calif. Institute for Mental Health – Sacramento

Exciting full-time opportunity for OT with California Institute for Mental Health (CiMH) Center for Multicultural Development (based in Sacramento). Position is responsible for a broad scope of CiMH projects, including areas of prevention/early intervention, reducing disparities, and evidence-based/emerging practices implementation and research.
