Per-diem OT position available at Zuckerberg SF General Hospital in Psych OT Department. This as-needed, non-benefited position is for Class 2548, Occupational Therapist (Recruitment # TEX-2548-092535). Under supervision of a senior OT, this therapist will plan, evaluate, and implement appropriate OT treatment and rehab of patients. POTAC committee members Beth Ching and Karen McCarthy along with Shelby
Surfas, OTAC Lobbyist Ivan Altamura, and OTAC Vice President Bryant Edwards, represented mental health OT at the California Board of Psychology meeting on August 16. On September 18, 2018, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr., of California announced he had signed into law OTAC’s sponsored legislative bill, AB 2221 (Bloom).
