Why Join?
You’ll find POTAC membership is quite reasonable at $25 for the whole year ($10 for students). Because our mission is to reach every OT practicing in mental health, we want to remove obstacles such as high dues from preventing our membership from hearing about jobs and signing on for educational opportunities.
Although most of our work is done by a volunteer Steering Committee, the membership dues pay for the expenses of mailing the newsletter and our website.
We also provide gratuities to some of our speakers, and from time to time, we will fly a speaker into the Bay Area from elsewhere. The dues and extra fees for trainings and forums will cover such expenses.
We find that our most valuable resources are the energy and generosity of our members and mentors who devote their valuable time to sharing information and insights with their colleagues.
We want to thank you for supporting our efforts, and invite you to please consider attending one of our open Steering Committee Meetings.
